HEY! Dad, this is for you!

"Want to see a cool trick for eating Oreos?" said husband one day.
"Is it peanut butter?" I asked.
"What about Nutella? Do you dip them in Nutella? Marshmallows, I've heard of that."
"Well I know what it is, I'm sure. There's no Oreo trick you can teach me that I don't know..."
wrong. wrong. wrong.

As a kid, I remember fondly hearing that plastic rip sound from the kitchen and knowing a lovely night was on its way. My sister or I would kindly offer to pour my dad a glass of milk. He of course, would get started on the Oreos. We'd all reconvene into the living room and laugh at some late night comedy show, or movie we'd rented. They were some of the best memories.

I also remember laughing as my dad dipped all of the Oreo into his glass, including his fingers. Because lets face it, they just don't taste as good when they aren't soggy.

Some guy at work showed husband how to do this, he was amazed.
Husband showed me this trick, and my jaw dropped.
Admit it, I've now changed the route your life. For the better, of course.

...and Dad, I know that wherever you sit and read this you've nearly passed out, thinking of all those times when a fork would have come in handy, and you didn't even know it.
