Spring inspired manicure

Over the years, I've collected enough polish to support an entire sorority house. I've collected acrylic powder and supplies, dot tools and pattern stamps. I used to be a real maniac - painting my nails in front of the TV for hours. I miss those days. I miss the days when I used to paint my nails every week. The days when I didn't wash my own laundry, or scrub dishes and bath tubs. You know, the lazy days when polish stayed on for longer than one night.

But today I decided to make an exception. Even if they do chip by tomorrow. Because its spring!! And nearly summer, and that alone is worth celebrating.

You see, I know its springtime when my nose starts to itch and my eyes start to water. Yes, before the plants even think about blooming - my allergies are on top of it. My runny nose is like a warning - "hey you, charge your camera! Unbelievable beautiful beauty is on its way". Let me tell you Washington, you have not lets us down this year.

Poor husband can barely drive ten feet without an "Oooh" or and "Aaahh" from this girl. Or a "babe, could we pull over for like five seconds so I can take a picture of that?"

Being the sweet, intelligent man he is, he politely declines my requests. The flowers are growing in the middle of the highway... He knows very well that a wife is better un - flattened.

...and that is my friends, is why spring is the season of love.

  2. You are too funny! I can barely paint my nails a solid color without a resulting hot mess, so I will leave the pretty artsy nails to you!

  5. this is so awesome, but it is a freaking miracle if I can just paint my nails and hold still long enough for them to dry with a single shade.
