Hand-picked, Homemade Blackberry Frozen Yogurt

I love blackberries. Love. We're talking lets-rip-up-my-brand-new-sweater-to-get-em kind of love. Or lets permanently stain my white shoes red kind of love. My devotion for blackberries far outweighs Noah's love in the Notebook. Fa' reals, folks. That's just how serious I am.

When I saw these puppies plumping up on bushes city-wide, my heart skipped a beat. I couldn't wait to get my hands covered in that nasty red juice (that almost always fades to mellow-yellow-brown). When I got the itch today I turned to my dear sister: "shall we go pickin'?" I had my boots and jeans on before she could even answer. And after discovering a lot of bare bushes in the "popular" spaces on base, we began an adventure towards the unknown - and hit the jackpot.

Therefore, ladies and gentlemen - we bring you from itbritt's fab test kitchen: Blackberry Froyo.
Ingredients:
1 cup milk
1/3 granulated sugar
4 cups vanilla yogurt
2 cups fresh blackberries, puréed.
Directions:
1. Mix milk and sugar together and combine until sugar is completely dissolved.
2. Stir in yogurt and berries - yum.
3. Turn on Ice cream maker, pour in mixture and allow to churn for 20-25 min.
P.S. I was totally kidding about the test kitchen. Its my real kitchen. I just call it that so I feel less like a failure when I mess up. Nothing worse than cleaning up a mess, only to enjoy... nothing. But not today, nosirrreee. Success. HUZZAAAAH. Blackberry lovers unite.

P.P.S. Does this one make me look crazy? *(the blogging equivalent of does this make me look fat)
